Bill Muench, Director, and Todd Hobin, Composer brought their film The Artist & the Astronaut to the NYSUT Regional Conference for Retiree Councils 7 & 8. - These outstanding educators were the perfect group of seasoned professionals to discuss what may come next for the film. After a spirited discussion about how to bring the film to a younger generation, many of the participants stayed late to share their personal experiences with Bill and Todd.

Of the many anecdotes, some were incredibly interesting. One of the teachers had Fr. Dan Berrigan as a professor when she attended Le Moyne College. Imagine that! He taught poetry. Another attended a lecture by him and his brother at Cornell.

Their reminiscences reinforce the historical impact of the film. Real people experiencing history firsthand. We look forward to bringing all of their stories to a new generation.
