Jeff Carr and his siblings, Gene Krantz’s daughter, Jeannie, Beth Williams, and so many more dignitaries, friends, and family showed up to honor the memory of Jerry Carr, whose mission launched into space 50 years ago. Right after the screening of The Artist & the Astronaut, Jeff Carr, along with Bill Muench answered questions and reminisced about, what was at the time, the longest mission in the history of the space program. It would include Jerry Carr’s seven-hour spacewalk, also a record.
